Saturday morning found me cutting all the fallen flowers from last week's storms.  I knew I should have staked the glads but thought I could get away with it this year.  Wrong!  They couldn't take the 70 mph winds we had.  Some of the purple cone flowers and the bee balm also suffered.  I made a beautiful bouquet to take to church for Sunday morning.  My flowers have outdone themselves this year but my vegetable garden is off to a slow start.
