THE NORTH WIND DOTH BLOW
The North wind doth blow
and we shall have snow,
And what will poor robin do then
poor thing?
He'll sit in a barn
and keep himself warm
And hide his head under his wing,
poor thing!
This is a British nursery rhyme probably from the 16th century.
As the North winds blow on us here in the Ozarks we may need to take warnings seriously and maybe stay inside. The older I get the less I enjoy cold nasty weather. Thankful to have a nice warm house to keep me warm for the winter. Thinking maybe to do some baking for the holidays that are nearly upon us.
Remember the wild birds as they get hungry too!
